Any innovative technology design starts not from tools and products, but from the mission, vision and objectives of your organization. In particular in complex organizations such as prison and probation administrations it is crucial to analyse the entire context the technology should be brought into: what do you want to change but also what do you want to keep? Who are your stakeholders and what do they expect? How will you measure the outcomes but also manage the risks and avoid negative side-effects?
Technology needs also be designed to work in a complex technological ecosystem: the existing infrastructure and application landscape, the data architecture, the various security requirements,… they all have to be taken in count in the planning and design of a good solution. As an Enterprise Architect I have been working for more then 20 years in corrections technology research, planning & design for different jurisdictions across the world.
I help with the planning, designing, capacity building and implementation of technology – related programs and projects, independent from a specific tool or product, tailored to your specific situation and aimed to reach your objectives.
